Zoodoo – An Engaging Australian-style Wildlife Adventure in Lâm Đồng
Situated in Đạ Nhim commune, Lạc Dương, Lâm Đồng, Zoodoo is about 40km from Đà Lạt, in the direction of Nha Trang – Khánh Vĩnh (TL 723). Despite the somewhat distant journey, a visit here is highly recommended. Spend an afternoon, and you'll feel light, relaxed, and gain a greater appreciation and love for nature.
The route to Zoodoo is beautiful and refreshing. The gentle sense of relaxation as you venture away from the noisy urban life makes the over 30km distance no longer an obstacle. Zoodoo's main building is enveloped by a pine forest, offering a panoramic view of the lush valley below from its hillside location.
At Zoodoo, you'll encounter a diverse array of animals that one might think could only be touched in the Western skies: kangaroos, monkeys, Pony miniature horses, Alpaca camels, fluffy sheep, and more. Notably, visitors can get up close to play and feed the animals.
Zoodoo enforces strict rules for visitors to maintain a peaceful environment—no noise, no disruption, and no chasing—ensuring the animals remain friendly and unafraid of humans. Additionally, the zoo limits daily visitors, conducting fixed tours (with a zookeeper) to allow the animals to rest and avoid chaos due to overcrowding.
Currently, Zoodoo operates during specific hours: 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM, prioritizing those with pre-booked tickets. To guarantee admission, it's recommended to book tickets at least 1 day in advance. The entrance fee is 100,000 VND for adults, 50,000 VND for children under 1.2m, and free for children under 90cm.
