The RX 9000 lineup includes four distinct models: RX 9070 XT, RX 9070, RX 9060, and RX 9050, which were first unveiled at CES 2025.
AMD has officially announced that its new Radeon RX 9000-series graphics cards will debut in March, sparking anticipation within the tech community. This announcement was made by David McAfee, Vice President and General Manager of the Ryzen CPU and Radeon Graphics division, through a post on the X social media platform. He mentioned that both the hardware and software for the Radeon 9000-series are nearly complete, with only the official release date remaining.

The RX 9000 series includes four different models: RX 9070 XT, RX 9070, RX 9060, and RX 9050, first introduced at CES 2025. These cards are based on the RDNA 4 architecture, offering upgrades such as FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4) with AI support, third-generation ray tracing acceleration, and the second-generation Radiance Display Engine. Notably, the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 models will feature AMD's second-generation AI acceleration, promising superior image processing capabilities.
While specific performance details have not been revealed, AMD's promotional materials suggest that the top two models may offer performance on par with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Super. Leaked specifications for the RX 9070 XT include a Navi 48 GPU with 4,096 cores, a boost clock speed of up to 2.97 GHz, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and a memory bandwidth of 640 GB/s.

Although official pricing for the new models has yet to be disclosed, AMD is expected to price them competitively against Nvidia products, such as the RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti, which are priced at $549 and $749, respectively. McAfee also mentioned that AMD plans to launch "a variety of graphics cards worldwide" this March, emphasizing the company's commitment to delivering high-quality products to consumers.
