On January 21, SSI Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SSIAM), a subsidiary of SSI Securities Corporation (stock code: SSI), announced the formation of SSI Digital Ventures. This platform is dedicated to investing up to 200 million USD and plans to co-invest a total of 500 million USD in digital technology and blockchain sectors in Southeast Asia.
SSI Digital Ventures is focused on providing financial resources, strategic guidance, and favorable conditions to support the growth of young companies.
At the launch event, SSI Digital Ventures signed collaboration agreements with several partners, including Tether – the creator of the world's first stablecoin and one of the most valuable digital assets by market capitalization. Additionally, the platform has partnered with KuCoin – a digital asset exchange platform, and SBI Digitals Market – a member of Japan's SBI Financial Group.
Additionally, on the morning of January 21, 2025, SSI Digital Technology Joint Stock Company (SSID), founded by the Chairman of SSI Board of Directors, Nguyễn Duy Hưng, officially launched the Digital Technology and Blockchain Complex project, covering an area of 1.7 hectares at the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Hanoi.
The project is envisioned to become an R&D center and is also in the process of laying the foundation to establish one of the first sandboxes aimed at fostering innovation and the development of digital technology and Blockchain.
