Samsung's personalization app has now received a system-wide UI update. This revamped version of Good Lock will be released alongside One UI 7.0, together with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung has released version 3.0.10.1 of Good Lock, which now shares a similar design with One UI 7.0. The app's icons have been streamlined for a simpler, more intuitive list interface. Additionally, the bottom toolbar has been expanded and now includes three shortcuts: Terrace, Plugins, and You.
Good Lock has been updated with a more modern and user-friendly interface (Image: AndroidAuthority). While this may improve the swiping experience, it has sparked some controversy. The categories have been separated and highlighted by color rather than using clear dividers as before. Users now need to pay closer attention to the colors to ensure they haven't switched categories.
This update not only refines the interface but also introduces new features. The app now includes Good Lock Talk, a chatbot that helps users find and adjust the necessary modules. Additionally, a new gift box icon has been added, which will serve as a place to search for photo collections and two new widgets.
Users can now easily customize their photo collection along with the new widgets (Image: AndroidAuthority). One of the two new widgets is a 1x1 size, designed to group together all the Good Lock utilities you've downloaded. The other widget, resembling a cassette tape, is 4x2 in size, color-changeable, and allows quick access to up to four different apps.
