The franchise continues to show Cell's reaction upon seeing Gohan's new Gohan Beast form for the first time in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero brought Gohan to the same level as Goku and Vegeta in a new battle against a new version of Cell. The film pushed Gohan to new heights, giving him a completely unique transformation. Gohan Beast possesses divine strength, similar to the latest forms of Goku and Vegeta.
It was a major turning point for Gohan, similar to the moment he defeated Cell for the first time in the Cell Saga of Dragon Ball Z.
Gohan harnessed his fury to create a powerful new transformation that completely overpowered Cell. But Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero took it further, revealing how Perfect Cell would react when witnessing Gohan Beast in action.
In the video above, when Cell sees Gohan Beast for the first time, he exclaims, "What is this supernatural power? Do Saiyans always have the potential to reach such unbelievable strength?" Later, Gohan Beast mocks his opponent with a humorous response, "Oh. I never thought I'd get the pleasure of cleaning the floor with you again."

Thanks to the manga, Dragon Ball Super has additional material to wrap up the events of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, offering fans deeper insights into Gohan Beast. Gohan explains that this form channels his fury just before he loses control. When he unleashes this power, Goku and Vegeta realize that it's on par with Goku's Ultra Instinct and even Broly's Super Saiyan strength when they all spar at their peak.
