1. Ngoc Son
Ngoc Son, the "King of Vietnamese Pop Music," was born on November 26, 1970, in Hai Phong. He is a well-known and beloved singer and composer in Vietnam. At the age of 19, he won the award for Best Singer at the National Television Singing Festival. His songs have become classics for generations, including hits like "Vang Trang Co Don", "Tinh Cha", and "Long Me".
In 2014, Ngoc Son participated in the live TV show "Dau An 13" aired on VTV9, where he performed many of his iconic songs, reflecting his musical journey, and collaborating with various guest artists in harmonious performances.
Ngoc Son is also known for his meaningful charity work, such as distributing money, rice, and gifts to the poor on his birthday. For the past 15 years, he has consistently carried out this charitable tradition. Around November 26 each year, a large number of people gather to receive donations from him. He has also expressed his intention to sell his luxurious mansion worth hundreds of billions to contribute to charity, keeping only a small amount for himself.


2. Kim Oanh
Kim Oanh, whose real name is Dao Kim Oanh, was born on January 1, 1975, in Hai Phong. Kim Oanh is a Vietnamese actress known for her roles in films such as: "Sóng ở đáy sông", "Những ngọn nến trong đêm", "Những giấc mơ dài", and "Ma làng". She is particularly famous for playing antagonist roles and is also known as a comedian who specializes in portraying tough characters.
Kim Oanh grew up in an artistic family, with her mother being a former traditional opera actress. This early exposure to the stage sparked her dream of becoming an actress. After finishing her general education, she applied to the Vietnam University of Theatre and Cinema. In 1995, she graduated and began working at the Youth Theatre, where she participated in numerous performances and plays. Since 2007, she has worked as a TV program editor at Vietnam Television, specializing in the stage department after further studying directing at the University of Theatre and Cinema.
In 2012, after years of dedication to the arts at the Youth Theatre, she was honored by the State with the title of People's Artist. In 2013, thanks to her directing work at the Vietnam Television's stage department, she was awarded the National Television Festival Prize. Known for her principled and straightforward nature, Kim Oanh is also very private about her personal life. It is known that she is living happily with her husband, who works at the television station.


3. Duy Mạnh
Duy Mạnh, born Nguyễn Duy Mạnh on May 22, 1975, in Hai Phong, Vietnam, is a popular singer and songwriter. He rose to fame in 2005 with his debut album, "Tình em là đại dương," which featured a series of songs that became a sensation in the Vietnamese music scene.
Duy Mạnh grew up in a musical family, with his older brother being a saxophonist. He studied at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, majoring in Piano, and also took private lessons from renowned musicians Nguyễn Ánh and Nguyễn Quang from 1992 to 1998. From 1998, he began performing in small venues like coffee houses, bars, and pubs in Ho Chi Minh City, primarily accompanying other singers on the piano and occasionally stepping in as a backup singer when necessary. In 2002, Duy Mạnh produced his first music album, which featured compositions by respected composers such as Thuận Yến, Việt Anh, and Hà Dũng. He gained widespread recognition in 2005 with his debut album "Tình em là đại dương," which included hits such as "Hãy về đây bên anh," "Kiếp đỏ đen," "Tình em là đại dương," and "Ta đâu có say."
Before becoming a well-known artist, Duy Mạnh lived alone in Ho Chi Minh City while his wife and child remained in Hai Phong. Nowadays, Duy Mạnh and his family have relocated to Ho Chi Minh City, where they are raising their two children.


4. Ốc Thanh Vân
Ốc Thanh Vân, born Phạm Thị Thanh Vân on February 18, 1984, in Hải Phòng, is one of Vietnam's most versatile actresses and hosts. Not only has she excelled in the artistic field, but she has also enjoyed significant success in various other areas. She embodies the saying, "Skilled in both public affairs and domestic duties." In addition to being an outstanding mother of three, Ốc Thanh Vân is a multi-talented artist. Recently, she was honored with the title of "People's Artist" in Vietnam.
As one of the brightest faces in the entertainment industry, Ốc Thanh Vân is widely recognized for her roles in numerous successful films and television shows. Her breakthrough performance in the play "Người vợ ma" (The Ghost Wife) earned her accolades and captured the hearts of many audiences. Being fluent in both Northern and Southern Vietnamese, she has also contributed her voice to a variety of animated films, including "Puss In Boots" and "Cô Gái Xấu Xí" (The Ugly Girl), which were both highly successful.

5. Trần Lực
Director Trần Lực was born on September 14, 1961, in Hải Phòng. He primarily lives and works in Hanoi. A prominent figure in Vietnamese cinema, Trần Lực is both an actor and a director. The Vietnamese government has honored him with the titles of "Meritorious Artist" and "People's Artist" for his contributions to the arts.
As an actor, Trần Lực has made a significant impact on audiences with his roles in popular films such as "Mẹ chồng tôi" (My Mother-in-Law), "Hoa ban đỏ" (Red Ban Flower), "Người yêu đi lấy chồng" (The Lover Gets Married), and "Nguyễn Ái Quốc ở Hồng Kông" (Nguyễn Ái Quốc in Hong Kong). Some of her standout tracks include: "Một đêm" (One Night), "Tình yêu tự tìm được lối" (Love Finds Its Way), and "Giá như ta chẳng biết nhau" (If Only We Didn't Know Each Other).

7. Nhung Kate
Nhung Kate, born Dương Hồng Nhung on May 15, 1989, in Hải Phòng, is a Vietnamese actress, television host, model, and film actress. She gained recognition for her roles in horror films such as: Đoạt hồn (Soul Snatcher) and Cô hầu gái (The Maid).
As an actress, Nhung Kate made a strong impression in films like Bà nội không thích ăn pizza (Grandmother Doesn't Like Pizza), Bí Mật Tam Giác Vàng (The Golden Triangle Secret), and Đoạt hồn. She also appeared as the girlfriend of Phong Bụi (played by Johnny Trí Nguyễn) in the movie Bụi đời chợ lớn (The Dust of Chợ Lớn). 8. Quang Thắng
NSƯT Quang Thắng, whose full name is Đặng Quang Thắng, was born on October 21, 1968, in Hải Phòng. He is a well-known Vietnamese actor, specializing in comedy, with his most iconic role being the character Táo Kinh tế (Economic Minister) in the popular TV program Táo quân, produced by the Vietnam Television Film Production Center. In addition to comedy, Quang Thắng has appeared in various TV dramas, films, and also worked as a TV host.
Affectionately called “Thắng vẹo” or “Thắng with the big nose” by his colleagues and fans, Quang Thắng was honored with the title of “People's Artist” (Nghệ sĩ ưu tú) in 2015. His acting career began in 1996 with his debut role in the film Những người con của biển (Children of the Sea). He later starred in several other productions, most notably in the drama Xóm ven sông (Riverside Village), which gained significant attention for addressing the issue of child poverty and social evils.
Although he mostly performed in Hanoi, Quang Thắng was a long-time member of the Hải Phòng Drama Troupe. He has been honored with the title “People's Artist” and currently serves as the Director of the People's Army Film Production Company, holding the rank of Colonel.

He often portrays intellectual characters, and with over 800 films to his name, he is beloved by audiences for his expressive face, which conveys profound emotions without being stiff. 10. Thu Phương
Singer Thu Phương, whose real name is Nguyễn Thị Thu Phương, was born on October 9, 1972, in Hải Phòng, Vietnam. She is a renowned pop singer, admired by many in the country for her distinctive deep and husky voice, which has earned her numerous national music awards.
Thu Phương is widely regarded as one of the most influential Vietnamese female singers of the 1990s. In 2003, she unexpectedly moved to the United States, but in 2018, she was granted permission to return to perform in the “Duyên dáng Việt Nam 19” program. She continues her musical career in the US, and in 2015, she became a coach on the third season of “The Voice Vietnam,” alongside renowned artists Tuấn Hưng, Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, and Mỹ Tâm. In 2022, Thu Phương returned to Vietnam as a judge for the second season of “Và tôi vẫn hát đây,” marking her second time on the judging panel after season 1.
Not only has her singing style evolved, but her fashion sense has also become increasingly feminine, with a range of elegant outfits showcased during her live shows. Thu Phương enjoys a peaceful family life with her husband, Dũng Taylor, and their four children.
