Despite being over a century old, it has remarkably preserved its architectural beauty both externally and internally. Phú Thượng Church is not only a notable religious landmark in the city but also a prime example of classical architecture, distinct from modern styles. Situated along Route 605, from the Hòa Khánh intersection to Bà Nà Hills, approximately 20 kilometers from the city center, the church was established in 1876 by French priests.
The parish consists of two areas with six churches and two chapels, forming a unique architectural ensemble of Catholicism. Among these, Phú Thượng Church is the largest and oldest. Completed in 1887, it boasts a majestic appearance with three large gates and a spacious yard, adorned with two tall columns on either side, resembling the letter H.
Although the church has maintained its ancient and solemn appearance since its construction, over time, the wooden columns have been affected by termites and have been replaced with reinforced concrete beams to preserve the structure. This change was essential to safeguard and maintain the cultural and architectural heritage of Phú Thượng Church.

On Sundays or major feast days, the downstairs is usually full.'
