1. Factory 13
As the first Vietnamese horror movie set primarily in a garment factory, Factory 13 introduces a unique and never-before-seen setting on the big screen. The movie features actors such as Tuan Tran, Truong My Nhan, Brian Tran, and Jay Quan...
According to local residents around the factory: 'Hieu - the security guard who died at Factory 13, had a very strange hobby that terrified everyone around him. He never interacted with people, only played with the cold, stiff mannequins. Every day, Hieu would sing and talk to them. He died a year ago, but at twilight, people still hear his melancholy voice singing a song by singer Thuy Nhi as though he is lamenting and complaining. The mannequins that used to be his companions often move for no apparent reason.'
They believe that Hieu’s restless spirit still lingers in Factory 13. A group of young people, determined to create a viral video, decide to sneak into the factory to uncover the truth.

2. Mai
Mai (stylized as MɅI) is a Vietnamese film, a blend of comedy, romance, and drama, released in 2024. Directed and co-produced by Tran Thanh, this marks his third directorial venture after 'Dad, I’m Sorry' and 'The Woman's House'. The film stars Phuong Anh Dao, Tuan Tran, Tran Thanh, Ngoc Giau, Kha Nhu, Uyen An, Anh Duc, Viet Anh, and Hong Dao.
Plot: Mai is a young woman born into a family plagued by her father's gambling addiction. In the prime of her youth, Mai is struck by an unimaginable tragedy, forcing her to take on multiple jobs to survive in the city. Eventually, fate leads her to become a massage girl. However, unlike her colleagues, Mai 'sells her art, not her body.' Still, this occupation brings her much criticism, and she is often mistaken for a prostitute. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Trung Duong (Tuan Tran), her neighbor, nicknamed 'Sâu,' who lives opposite her apartment. Unlike Mai, Duong is a carefree rich man who moves out to seek inspiration for his creative passion. A notorious womanizer, Duong makes a bet with a friend to win over Mai.
Mai is different from all the women Duong has been with. She doesn’t chase after him, but instead, she wants him to stay as far away from her life as possible. She claims that she has grown numb to men and is solely focused on making money. Initially, Duong sees Mai as a challenge, a target for a brief fling. The more she rejects him, the more persistent he becomes. However, the more time Duong spends with Mai, the more his heart is touched. Eventually, he offers her the most sincere love, hoping to be with her forever. But the differences in their lives cause Mai to harbor a deep fear. She views happiness like tomorrow – something that will never come. Her heart, having been scarred too many times, can no longer withstand another blow.

4. Song of the South
Song of the South (Vietnamese: Đất rừng phương Nam) is a 2023 Vietnamese film in the genres of epic, adventure, and drama. It is based on the novel of the same name by author Doan Gioi and the 1997 TV series adaptation. Directed and co-produced by Nguyen Quang Dung, with guidance and advice from Nguyen Vinh Son, the director of the original 1997 TV adaptation, the film stars Huynh Hao Khang as An, the main character. The supporting cast includes Bui Ly Bao Ngoc, Do Ky Phong, Tuan Tran, Tien Luat, Bang Di, Tran Thanh, Hua Vi Van, Tuyen Map, Mai Tai Phen, Huynh Dong, Bich Ngoc, Cong Ninh, and Hong Anh. Tuan Tran plays Ut Luc Lam, a young man who specializes in theft and grew up as an orphan. He is portrayed as a cunning, practical character with a hidden soft side.
Set in the 1920s-1930s, the film follows An, a boy who embarks on a journey with the people of Southern Vietnam toward revolution in search of his father. The film began development in mid-2017, when production companies purchased the rights to adapt the novel twice. The filmmakers decided to retain the original title instead of shortening it as in the 1997 TV series. Principal photography took place mainly in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and various provinces in Southern Vietnam, starting in December 2022 and concluding in March 2023 after 48 non-consecutive days of shooting.
Song of the South held its first press conference on September 20, 2023, with early screenings taking place from 7 PM on October 13 to October 15. It was officially released on October 16, 2023, earlier than the originally planned release date of October 20. Despite criticism over historical inaccuracies, dialogue, and special effects, the film generally received positive reviews from critics upon its release. It was a commercial success, grossing 140.4 billion VND against a production budget of 40 billion VND, but it did not receive any nominations at the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival.
