8. Da Nang City
Da Nang is located in a tropical monsoon climate zone, characterized by consistently high temperatures with little variation. The average annual temperature is around 25.6°C, peaking in June at 29.2°C and dipping to 21.2°C in February. The Ba Na mountain area, located nearly 1,500 meters above sea level, experiences a cooler average temperature ranging from 17°C to 20°C. The city's average humidity is 83.4%, and the average annual rainfall is 1,355mm, with October receiving the highest rainfall at 266mm, and February the lowest at 7mm.
Da Nang's climate is a transitional mix of northern and southern weather, with a predominant tropical influence from the south. 9. Nha Trang City
As one of the most beautiful coastal cities in Vietnam, Nha Trang City, located in Khanh Hoa Province, attracts a large number of tourists. The region was once part of the Champa Kingdom, and remnants of Cham culture can still be found throughout Nha Trang. On April 22, 2009, Nha Trang was recognized as a Class I city by the Vietnamese Prime Minister. Known as the 'Pearl of the East Sea' or the 'Emerald Jewel,' Nha Trang is praised for its natural beauty, climate, and overall charm.
Nha Trang enjoys a tropical savanna climate influenced by oceanic patterns. Its climate is relatively mild, with an average annual temperature of 26.3°C. The city experiences a mild winter and a lengthy rainy season. The rainy season typically starts in September and lasts until December, accounting for nearly 80% of the annual rainfall (1,025 mm). In some years, the rainy season may begin in July or August and end earlier in November. The most notable feature of Nha Trang's climate is the warm weather year-round, with sea breezes mixing with sunshine to create a magical atmosphere. Compared to other coastal provinces in Central Vietnam, Nha Trang offers more favorable weather conditions for year-round tourism.
