1. General introduction to Haneda Airport
Haneda is the commonly used name for Tokyo International Airport (HND). This airport is also referred to by other names such as Tokyo Haneda Airport or Haneda International Airport. Located in Ota, Tokyo, it is about 14 km south of Tokyo Station. Haneda is one of the largest and busiest airports in the world as well as in the Asian region.

2. Terminals at Haneda Airport
Haneda Airport currently has 3 terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the International Terminal. The main terminals (1 and 2) are connected via an underground walkway. There is also a free shuttle bus running between the main terminals and the International Terminal, departing every 5 minutes.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1, also known as Big Bird, was opened in 1993. It is the largest terminal at Haneda Airport, featuring restaurants, shopping areas, conference rooms, and observation decks. Terminal 1 primarily serves Japan Airlines flights.

Terminal 2

International Terminal
The International Terminal opened in 2010. This terminal houses lounges operated by All Nippon Airways (Star Alliance), Japan Airlines (oneworld), and Cathay Pacific Airways (oneworld). Terminal 2 mainly serves All Nippon Airways flights.

3. Transportation Options Between the Airport and Central Tokyo
Limousine Bus
Haneda Airport is connected to various locations in Tokyo and its surrounding districts by bus services.
The bus ride to central Tokyo takes approximately 30 to 80 minutes, with ticket prices ranging from 620 to 2,000 yen.
The first bus departs at 4:30 AM, while the last one leaves at 2:00 AM the following morning.
Tokyo Monorail
The Tokyo Monorail connects Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho Station, where passengers can transfer to JR Yamanote or JR Keihin-Tohoku trains to reach Tokyo Station. Although the monorail is not operated by JR, it accepts Japan Rail Pass, JR Tokyo Wide Pass, JR East Nagano Niigata Area Pass, JR East Tohoku Area Pass, and JR East South Hokkaido Pass.
The Monorail operates every 15 minutes, with a fare of 490 yen to Hamamatsucho Station. The first train arrives at 5:12 AM, and the last one departs at 12:10 AM the following morning.
Keikyu Railways
Keikyu Railways connects the airport to Shinagawa Station in Tokyo, as well as to the Asakusa Subway Line and the neighboring areas of Yokohama and Kanagawa.
The Keikyu trains run approximately every 15 minutes, with a fare of 410 yen to Shinagawa Station. The first train arrives at 5:29 AM, and the last one departs at 12:01 AM.
Taxi
A taxi ride from the airport to central Tokyo typically costs between 5,000 and 11,000 yen, depending on the destination and the time of day. Note that taxis may charge an additional late-night fee, usually around 20%, for rides between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM the following morning.
The Tokyo Monorail facilitates easy travel between the airport and various destinations in central Tokyo and nearby regions.
4. Haneda Airport Operating Hours
The international terminal at the airport operates 24 hours a day. Meanwhile, terminals 1 and 2 are open from 5 AM to midnight.

WiFi/Internet

Internet access computers that operate using coin payments are available at @Station, with a fee of 100 yen for 10 minutes (accepting 100 yen coins). Location:

Luggage Lockers and Storage Services at Haneda Airport
At the international terminal:
The service fee ranges from 300 to 800 yen per bag per day, depending on the size of the luggage, with a daily charge of 200 yen for coats. The maximum storage duration is 2 weeks. The service operates 24/7. Some oversized luggage may not be accepted for storage at the airport. Coin-operated lockers are available at both of the following locations with a fee of 300 to 500 yen per bag per day:
- 2nd floor, arrival lobby, landside area - 3rd floor, departure lobby entrance, landside area.
At terminals 1 and 2:
The service fee ranges from 300 to 900 yen per bag per day, depending on the size of the luggage, and 300 yen per day for coats.

Mobile Device Charging
International terminal passengers can charge their mobile devices at the @TIAT station. This area also offers massage chairs, workstations, and vending machines, providing comfort and convenience for travelers.

Mobile charging stations are only available on the 2F of Terminals 1 and 2. The information counters on 2F and B1F of both terminals also offer free mobile charging services.

Pet Hotel
Haneda Airport offers a pet hotel service, with prior booking required.
Location: Check-in at the P4 parking area of the international terminal (1F). The hotel is located in the North Wing on the 2F of Terminal 1.

7. Flights from Vietnam to Tokyo (arriving at Haneda Airport)
There is now a direct flight from Hanoi to Tokyo, landing at Haneda Airport. Passengers flying from Ho Chi Minh City will need to take a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, and then transfer to a flight to Haneda Airport.
