Step 1: Complete procedures at the customs counter
- Here, you will present your passport/visa. The customs officer may stamp your documents or attach additional paperwork. You may also be asked a few questions regarding your entry, even if your documents are valid.

Car Rental:
From Hamburg Airport to the city's central areas, you can follow these routes:
From Schleswig-Holstein, take the A7 motorway and exit at Schnelsen-Nord; from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, use the A1 and A24 highways, exiting at Horn (A24); and from Lower Saxony, take the A7 motorway and exit at Schnelsen-Nord.
