For travelers eager to explore the land of 'yellow flowers, green grass', take note of the special flight offers after Tet. According to Mytour's updates, the Ho Chi Minh City – Tuy Hoa flights are currently priced as low as 10,000 VND per way.
Results from the Mytour.vn search system show that flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa, departing after Tet, around February 17, 2024 (the 8th day of the Lunar New Year), are priced at an incredibly low 10,000 VND per way (equivalent to a total fare of 716,000 VND per way including taxes and fees). These fares are available through VietJet Air, which offers this price on most flights towards the end of February. With VietJet Air's fares, passengers can bring 7kg of carry-on luggage, and the tickets allow for changes or cancellations with a fee, but name changes are not permitted.
Currently, VietJet Air operates only one flight per day on the Ho Chi Minh City – Tuy Hoa route, with a departure time of 05:55 AM. In addition to VietJet Air, Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines also serve this route. After the Lunar New Year, Vietnam Airlines offers fares starting from 429,000 VND per way, while Pacific Airlines has the lowest fare at 469,000 VND per way (including 23kg of free checked luggage). Pacific Airlines operates one flight per day, while Vietnam Airlines offers two daily flights, providing passengers with more flexibility and choices.
