The name Praha Ruzyne International Airport is the former name of the current Václav Havel Airport Prague, located about 12 km west of downtown Prague and 12 km southeast of the city of Kladno.

- Ruzyne Airport is directly connected to Prague's main train station via the Airport Express (AE) shuttle service. The shuttle stops right in front of the main railway station building.

- The waiting areas C and D in Terminal 2 are relatively quiet, making them a better option for resting overnight.
- The airport may be chilly and brightly lit at night, so it's advisable to bring a blanket, warm clothes, and an eye mask for a more comfortable sleep.
Additionally, you can make use of the airport's sleeping rooms. There are 9 rooms available in the airside area of Terminal 1, along with several hotels both inside and near the airport.
5. Hotels near Ruzyne Airport
- Rest and Fun Center: This is a resting area located in the transit (airside) section of Terminal 1. To use the rooms here, you must be a transit passenger at the airport or have a flight departing from Terminal 1. Airport staff will ask for your boarding pass with flight details departing from this terminal. If you arrive at the rest area more than 2 hours before your departure, you must keep your luggage with you. Nine rooms are available for day use (8 AM - 6 PM) without the need for a reservation. For overnight bookings (6 PM - 8 AM the next day), you must book at least 48 hours in advance.
- Courtyard Prague Airport Hotel: Located just 2 minutes by car from the airport. The hotel is situated between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. There is no airport shuttle service available.
- Holiday Inn: Situated 2 minutes by car from the airport, about 300 meters from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, near the Travel Building. The hotel offers a 24/7 airport shuttle service upon request. Guests can arrange the shuttle service at the hotel reception or use the free internal communication system located near Exit D of both terminals.
- Ramada Airport Hotel: Located in the Terminal 3 area. The hotel offers a 24/7 shuttle service from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 upon request. The shuttle picks up passengers from both Terminal 1 and 2.

Additionally, you can rent a private mini lounge for working, gaming, watching movies, or other entertainment activities with your family. The mini lounge can accommodate up to 4 people, with prices starting at 12 Euros for 2 hours of use.
Shower Facilities at Ruzyne Airport
Shower services are exclusively available for departing passengers and are not offered to those arriving. These facilities are located at the Rest and Fun Center in Terminal 1, airside.
The cost is 99 CZK for 30 minutes of use (including towels, shampoo, and body wash).
