Accordingly, Qatar Airways permits the transportation of domesticated dogs, cats, and birds as checked baggage on the same or different flights, in compliance with international aviation travel regulations.
For service and guide dogs
Qatar Airways allows service/guide dogs accompanying passengers with disabilities to travel in the cabin free of charge. On all other routes, service/guide dogs are permitted to fly as checked baggage at no additional cost.
For falcons
Qatar Airways permits passengers to bring one falcon in the Economy Class cabin, with a maximum of six falcons allowed in the Economy Class of any aircraft (subject to country-specific regulations).

Regulations regarding pet food
Qatar Airways advises passengers to ensure sufficient food and water are provided in the pet carrier or crate for the duration of the journey, as access to your pet will not be possible during the flight.
When preparing food and water containers, consider the following:
- Food and water containers must be securely placed inside the travel crate, allowing for refills from the outside without opening the carrier.
- Water bottles or similar drinking tubes attached inside or outside the travel crate are not considered refillable.
- If the owner does not provide food, the airline's ground staff will feed your pet every 3 to 4 hours (up to 2 hours before departure), and water will be replenished every hour (provided the water container attached to the crate can be refilled from the outside).
Fees for transporting pets as checked baggage
Qatar Airways applies specific fees for animals transported as checked baggage.
Fees for transporting falcons in Economy Class are determined by Qatar Airways.
