Axi Plaza stands out with its unique basket boat-inspired design
The Anam Group has opened Axi Plaza as a prominent multifunctional conference center. With a design inspired by the basket boat, the plaza offers views of Bai Dai Beach. It features a spacious modern conference hall, a rooftop venue with 360-degree views, an outdoor event space by the beach, and around 10,000 square meters dedicated to shopping and dining.
The shopping center is located next to The Anam Cam Ranh, a 12-hectare resort with 213 rooms, suites, and villas. Axi Plaza is making a significant breakthrough in Cam Ranh. It is an ideal location for beachside meetings or indoor events with a capacity of up to 1,000 people. The hall, with its high, fan-shaped ceiling, offers a panoramic view of the ocean.
Modern amenities at Axi Plaza
Covering an area of 1,077 m2, the 360-degree rooftop area on the fifth floor is designed for events and receptions. From here, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the white sandy beach and the turquoise waters of Long Beach. The outdoor event space impresses with its spacious grassy area, with three picturesque swimming pools in front, including a saltwater pool, a chlorine pool, and a children's pool. Behind the entrance and reception area is a 200 m2 Lounge that serves Vietnamese cuisine.
The first floor of Axi Plaza is dedicated to 46 stores ranging in size from 14 m2 to 239 m2. The exterior of the building is decorated with wood aged at least 100 years. At night, the building undergoes a colorful transformation with an elaborate light show. It can be said that the shopping center provides a convenient solution for travelers who need to check out early but don't want to wait hours at the airport.
The basket boat has a history dating back to the French colonial era when the French imposed taxes on boat ownership. It is believed that Vietnamese fishermen, unable to afford the tax, responded by creating the basket boat. It was considered a basket, not a boat, and therefore, could not be taxed.
