In order to ensure convenience for passengers traveling to Australia, Bamboo Airways has recently issued a detailed notice regarding the entry conditions for flights to the country. If you're planning a trip, it's advisable to review these rules to make your journey as smooth as possible.
Bamboo Airways promptly provides passengers with important information about Australia's entry regulations
The first flight connecting Vietnam and Australia by Bamboo Airways will officially depart on February 19, 2022. Passengers flying with Bamboo Airways are advised to be aware of the two key requirements below to ensure a smooth entry into Australia:
I. ENTRY AND EXIT REGULATIONS
1. Passengers are required to submit their health information online via the Australian government platform.
- Passengers must complete their health declaration at the following address: https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/digital-passenger-declaration?fbclid=IwAR2lf2nv2EUr5vawzDAfa5mBI38o8UUqB5UePS6etp-N1-F-u07RTGWCHtY. After completing the required details, Bamboo Airways recommends passengers to carry a PDF printout of the health declaration for entry procedures into Australia.
- This applies to passengers entering Australia after February 18, 2022.
- Instructions for online health declaration:
Step 1: Create an account on the website https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/digital-passenger-declaration
+ Select 'Create account with browser button' -> Agree to the terms by clicking 'I agree' -> Then click 'Get started'
+ Fill in your personal information, and you will be asked to provide a password via email or your personal phone number to access your newly created account.
Step 2: Create a health declaration
+ Select '+ New PDP' and enter your flight details, then agree to store your personal information
Step 3: Provide a copy of your passport image
+ Upload a photo in JPEG or PNG format, then save the information.
Step 4: Declare your travel itinerary (within 14 days prior to your departure date)
Step 5: Provide information about your quarantine location
Step 6: Declare your health status
+ Provide details about your health condition.
+ Upload a copy of your vaccination certificate or fill in your vaccination details.
+ Upload a copy of your negative Covid test result (PCR/rapid test).
Step 7: Review your declaration and print a hard copy in PDF format
2. Passengers must meet all entry document requirements.
Ensuring that all documents are correct and complete will make your entry into Australia much easier.
- The entry form will be provided either on the aircraft or at the immigration counter before entering, and will include the following information:
+ Personal information: Full name/ Passport number/ Address of stay or residence in Australia after entry
+ Answer the questions (pre-written in the attached form): Passengers should select 'Yes' or 'No'.
+ Personal contact details in Australia (for the traveler): Phone number/ Email/ Address of stay or residence in Australia.
+ Emergency contact details (family or friends): Phone number/ Email/ Address of stay or residence in Australia.
+ Answer the two questions in English (questions are provided in the attached form).
+ Fill in the required information and mark 'X' in the appropriate boxes (A), (B), and (C).
(Passengers should ensure that both sides of the entry form are filled out, leaving no fields blank.)
