In response to urgent directives from the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Committees of Lam Dong, Kien Giang, and Vinh regarding mandatory COVID-19 testing for passengers at Lien Khuong, Rach Gia, Phu Quoc, and Vinh airports, Bamboo Airways has issued a comprehensive notice to its customers.

Travelers are advised to stay updated on the latest regulations for arrivals and departures at Lien Khuong, Rach Gia, and Vinh airports
Accordingly, all passengers traveling to/from other provinces or cities arriving at Lien Khuong Airport (Lam Dong), Rach Gia/Phu Quoc Airport (Kien Giang), and Vinh International Airport MUST provide a NEGATIVE SARS-CoV-2 test result: either a negative Real-time PCR test or a negative rapid antigen test.
The tests must remain valid under the following specific conditions:
1. Lien Khuong Airport:
- A negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result is valid for 05 days.
- A rapid antigen test result is valid for 03 days.
2. Rach Gia and Phu Quoc Airports:
- A negative RT-PCR Covid test certificate is valid for 72 hours from the time of issuance.
- A rapid antigen test result is valid for 24 hours from the time of issuance.
- For passengers who have not been tested or whose test results have expired, they must undergo a paid test at the airport, conducted by the Phu Quoc and Rach Gia Medical Centers in coordination with the two airports.
3. At Vinh Airport:
- A negative PCR test certificate is valid for 03 to 05 days.
These regulations are now officially in effect at the aforementioned airports. Passengers are kindly requested to stay informed and strictly comply to contribute to the nationwide efforts in maintaining high-level pandemic prevention measures.

Starting from July 8, 2021, Bamboo Airways will temporarily suspend passenger flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc, and vice versa.
Additionally, Bamboo Airways has recently announced the suspension of passenger flights on the Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc route.
In accordance with directives from the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province and recommendations from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the Department of Health and Transport, to enhance COVID-19 prevention measures in Kien Giang Province and Ho Chi Minh City, and to protect public health, the Ministry of Transport has officially issued Document No. 6578, ordering the suspension of passenger flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc, and vice versa, effective from 00:00 on July 8, 2021 (Hanoi time) until further notice.
