As you may know, Phu Quoc Island is blessed with breathtaking natural beauty, making it an increasingly popular destination for travelers and families seeking a relaxing getaway. However, during peak travel seasons, congestion at Phu Quoc Airport becomes inevitable. To address this issue, Bamboo Airways has introduced an online check-in service (Check-in online) on its website and mobile app for flights to Phu Quoc, effective from November 1, 2022.
From now on, traveling to Phu Quoc with Bamboo Airways allows you to check-in online effortlessly through two convenient platforms:
- Website: Visit Bamboo Airways' website, navigate to the Check-in section, select "CHECK-IN," enter your "BOOKING CODE" or "E-TICKET NUMBER," and complete the process by filling in your details to finalize your check-in.
- Mobile App: Open the Bamboo Airways app, select "CHECK-IN" (located at the bottom of the home screen), enter your "BOOKING CODE" or "E-TICKET NUMBER," fill in your details, and access your booking profile to complete the check-in process.
Following Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Cam Ranh, and Con Dao, Phu Quoc has become the sixth destination where Bamboo Airways passengers can utilize the online check-in service.
Here are some important notes when using Bamboo Airways' online check-in service:
- After completing the online check-in process on Bamboo Airways' website or mobile app, you will receive a digital boarding pass. You can either print it or save it on electronic devices such as your computer or smartphone.
- Upon arriving at the airport, proceed to Bamboo Airways' check-in counter to verify your boarding pass. Look for signs labeled "Online Check-In Counter" for easy identification. Please follow the airport signage or consult with airport staff for assistance.
- Online check-in is not applicable for the following cases: Passengers with special service requests (excluding special meal requests), individuals denied boarding or facing deportation, travelers with infants under 2 years old, pregnant women, or those requiring medical assistance (e.g., wheelchair services).
- For domestic flights departing from Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Nha Trang, passengers without checked baggage can proceed directly to the security screening area. Bamboo Airways reminds travelers to be present at the boarding gate no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Failure to appear at the gate by this time will result in the cancellation of the online check-in.
- Passengers who have completed online check-in but have checked baggage must arrive at the Online Check-In Counter no later than 15 minutes before the counter closes. If not present by this time, Bamboo Airways may refuse to transport the checked luggage.
