After a year-long hiatus, Bamboo Airways reintroduces its international flight service from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok, landing at Don Mueang Airport.
Bamboo Airways Resumes Ho Chi Minh City – Don Mueang Route
This event marks the return of Bamboo Airways to international operations after a full year of restructuring. Starting November 26th, the airline will operate regular direct flights connecting Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) with Don Mueang International Airport (Bangkok, Thailand). The schedule includes one round-trip flight daily, departing at 11:15 AM – 12:55 PM (outbound) and returning at 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM (inbound). The flight period runs from November 26, 2024, to March 29, 2025. Ticket prices start at 1,789k per leg (taxes and fees included).
Flights departing from Vietnam by Bamboo Airways feature convenient timings, allowing travelers to easily reach central Bangkok and complete hotel check-in procedures. Previously, the airline operated regular routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok (starting April 2022) and Hanoi to Bangkok (starting March 2023). However, during that period, flights landed at the larger Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Upon its return, Bamboo Airways plans to add two more aircraft to meet passenger demand, especially during the peak year-end season. This will enable the airline to increase frequency on existing routes and resume domestic flights from Thanh Hoa, Phu Quoc, and other locations.
