Involuntary Refund Case (Refund Due to Flight Schedule Changes by the Airline)
This applies when the flight time is adjusted by 3 hours or more (delay) or 1 hour or more (advance), or when the flight is entirely canceled without a replacement flight.
If you booked your flight directly through the Bamboo Airways Website, Mobile App, or Ticket Office, you can request a refund through two methods:
Method 1: Refund via E-voucher (processing time within 14 days from the customer's confirmation date)
- The E-voucher is non-transferable and becomes valid immediately upon issuance.
- The validity period is 365 days from the date of issuance.
- There is no limit to the number of uses until the E-voucher's value is fully utilized.
- Applicable to:
+ Tickets issued via web/app or purchased directly from the airline for all canceled routes;
+ Tickets issued by foreign agents: applicable only to international routes that have ceased operations, international segments with reduced frequency, and no replacement flights;
+ Valid gift vouchers that meet the refund conditions.
Method 2: Refund to the original payment account used for ticket purchase (Processing time within 90 days from the customer's confirmation date)
Use the registered email from the booking to send the refund request to the airline's email address, including the following details:
+ Original payment account details: Credit card (Cardholder's name, embossed card number (first 6 and last 4 digits), card expiration date); Bank account number; E-wallet account number.
+ Booking reference number for the refund request
+ Names of passengers requesting the refund (Specify full names)
+ Flight route for the refund request (Specify route/date/time of the flight)
Voluntary Refund Case
Option 1: Process the refund through the Booking Management section on Bamboo Airways' website or Mobile App
Option 2: Use the registered email from the booking to send the refund request to Bamboo Airways' official email address, providing all required information as specified by the airline.
