Voted the most beautiful beach in Indonesia and featured on the list of Asia's most stunning beaches, Nusa Dua is sure to amaze visitors upon arrival.
Nusa Dua – the 'precious gem' of the archipelago
Nusa Dua is a beach on the Bali archipelago, located about 40km from Bali's capital and a 20-minute drive from Kuta. Often compared to a beautiful yet slightly aloof woman. Choosing Nusa Dua as your destination in Indonesia will offer endless relaxation with its white sands, golden sunshine, and the vast ocean.
The beaches in Nusa Dua are typically quiet and peaceful. Anyone can find their own picturesque path to stroll, sunbathe, or sit idly under a tree by the shoreline, listening to the crashing waves.
The waters here are crystal clear, with gentle waves, making it safe for swimming and ideal for paddleboarding instead of surfing – a popular water sport in Bali.

On the map, Nusa Dua’s coastline is located on the eastern side of Bali, stretching southward and extending into the sea like two crab claws embracing the ocean. Along these 'claws', lush, cooling greenery thrives in harmony.
On this winding path, visitors can jog, cycle, skateboard, or simply enjoy endless moments of relaxation.
The beaches are lined with numerous eye-catching restaurants and cafes. The experience of savoring fresh seafood with a glass of fine wine while watching the waves crash is truly unparalleled. If it's too early in the morning for this, the sunset is undoubtedly the perfect time.

Where the waves meet the rocks, where grandeur meets tranquility
International travel to Nusa Dua without witnessing the ‘water blow’ phenomenon would be a significant miss. The term ‘water blow’ is hard to translate into Vietnamese, but you can roughly understand it as the event of waves crashing against rocks. It's a unique and rare phenomenon, hard to find anywhere else in the world.
At the larger crab claw tip – where major international events often take place – Mother Nature has generously gifted Nusa Dua with a one-of-a-kind natural wonder.

A rocky outcrop in the sea has a large hole, and when the ocean water rushes in, it strikes the rocks and erupts upward, creating a unique spectacle. Simply ask any local for directions to the ‘water blow,’ and they'll easily guide you.
Here, the authorities have constructed a wooden bridge right where the waves crash against the rocks, allowing visitors to view the phenomenon up close. If you want to capture one-of-a-kind photos or experience the thrill and nervousness of towering waves crashing straight at you, you can walk onto the bridge. Otherwise, you can simply stand back and admire from a distance.
The process repeats itself with no predictable pattern of height or size, and no one can estimate the strength or height of the waves. Watching for a while might make you feel dizzy, but the awe-inspiring and magical nature of the 'water blow' cannot be denied.
Nusa Dua is a beautiful, alluring beach that holds many surprising, almost unbelievable wonders. If you’re traveling on a budget to Bali, you absolutely must visit Nusa Dua. It’s not just a beach, but a masterpiece of nature – a creation that, if missed, would surely leave you with deep regret.
