The storyline of the show
The tale in "Journey to Wonderland" draws inspiration from a timeless love story. It takes you on an enchanting adventure through rich cultural landscapes of prosperous eras. The fateful romance begins at a bustling festival in Ocean City, travels back in time to ancient Vietnam, ventures to China, crosses the Indian Ocean to the sacred Ganges River, journeys through African deserts, explores the grandeur of Europe, and finally returns to Vietnam.
Stunning circus acts
The impressive performances presented by the renowned circus troupe An Khánh from China have captivated audiences around the world. With nearly 70 years of history, this circus has toured 19 countries including Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and the United States, receiving numerous international awards for its extraordinary acts.
The show, titled “A Journey to the Land of Wonders,” promises to offer the audience a unique array of acts. Among these are three award-winning performances that have received international recognition:
- The Silk Acrobatics 'Dunhuang Skills' and the Ball Juggling performance 'Imagine the Future – Ball Skills'. Both are traditional highlights from the Spring Gala of Anhui Television.
- 'Rolling Lamp' earned the Gold Medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque De Demain, a prestigious event comparable to the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival.
- The 'Contortion Carpet Turning' act won a Gold Medal at the Chinese Circus and Acrobatics Arts Competition.
Other standout performances include breathtaking acts such as the 'Death-defying Iron Rings,' chair balancing, and the Giant Wheel, among others.
The circus show has been meticulously planned and choreographed, with every detail carefully crafted to create an unforgettable experience.
The performance brings together prominent figures in the cultural and artistic world from China, alongside a team of renowned directors who have crafted the program.
– The show's chief director, Gao Hong Tao (Mr. Cao Hồng Đào), is renowned for his leadership in major cultural and sports festivals across China. He directed the 2019 Asian Cultural Festival, which was led by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The event brought together over 80,000 artists from 47 Asian countries, including Vietnam.
– Director Liu Ying (Ms. Lưu Anh) is the mastermind behind significant productions like the 'Dunhuang Ceremony,' the China Central Television (CCTV) Spring Festival Gala, and the opening ceremony of the 8th Paralympic Games in China.

The circus performance will take place at Kingdom Avenue, located within Vinhomes Ocean Park 2.
Dates: From June 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2024 (except for June 17th, 2024).

- 18:30 – 19:40, Tuesday to Sunday;
- 09:50 – 11:00, Saturday & Sunday.
Important notes when purchasing tickets for the show
1. General ticket rules
Customers must have a valid QR code ticket or physical ticket to attend the event. Each ticket is valid for a single scan to enter the performance area. It is the responsibility of the audience to protect their own QR code. The organizers are not responsible if the QR code information is exposed or lost.
The organizers have the right to refuse to address cases where more than one person registers using the same ticket code. As per the rules, only the first person who registers with a duplicate ticket code will be allowed to attend the show.
QR codes or physical tickets indicate the seat assignment for the performance. Please sit in the designated seat on your ticket.
