You might have heard about Bamboo Airways' Bamboo Club, but perhaps you're not fully aware of the exclusive benefits and privileges this membership card offers to its members. Let Mytour guide you through the details in the following article.
Currently, Bamboo Airways offers four types of memberships: First Class (First), Diamond Class (Diamond), Gold Class (Gold), and Emerald Class (Emerald).
FIRST CLASS BAMBOO CLUB CARD
First Class Bamboo Club Card
With this card, passengers will enjoy the following benefits:
- Priority check-in at the business or priority counter (+ 2 companions).
- Complimentary access to the business class lounge (+ 1 companion).
- Passengers are able to choose their preferred seats.
- Receive an additional 20 kg of free luggage allowance on each flight.
- The luggage is tagged with priority luggage labels.
- Use the priority boarding lane at the gate for boarding the plane.
- Use the priority lanes for VIP guests and the security, immigration, and customs areas (available depending on conditions at each airport).
- Passengers are eligible for a complimentary upgrade to Business Class if they have a confirmed seat in Economy Class but are moved to Business Class due to availability when checking in.
- Seat arrangements are handled in the case of an irregular flight situation.
- Receive a birthday bonus of 1,500 reward points.
- Passengers can accumulate and redeem reward points for various services offered by Bamboo Airways.
- Note:
-For domestic flights: A member with a First Class card can invite one guest into the Business Lounge, provided the guest is flying on the same day with the member, on a Bamboo Airways flight, and arrives simultaneously with the member at the lounge.
-Maximum usage time: 3 hours.
BAMBOO CLUB DIAMOND CARD
Diamond Class Card of Bamboo Airways
Passengers are entitled to:
- Complete check-in at the business class/priority counter (+ 1 accompanying person).
- Enjoy complimentary access to the Business Class lounge
- Select your preferred seating option.
- Receive an additional 10 kg of free luggage allowance on each flight.
- Priority baggage tags are applied to luggage.
- Use the priority boarding lane at the gate for boarding.
- There is no additional fee to upgrade to Business Class for members who already have a confirmed Economy Class seat, but the seat in Economy Class is no longer available when checking in, and Business Class has available seats.
- Address seating arrangements in case of irregular flight schedules.
- Receive bonus points to celebrate your birthday (1,000 points).
- Members can accumulate and redeem bonus points for various services offered by Bamboo Airways.
GOLD BAMBOO CLUB CARD
Gold Bamboo Club Card
Passengers can enjoy the following privileges:
- Check-in at the priority/business counter.
- Select your preferred seat.
- Enjoy an additional 5 kg of free luggage allowance per flight.
- The luggage is tagged with a priority tag.
- Priority boarding is available at the gate area for passengers.
- Passengers are given priority assistance with seating during irregular flight situations.
- Celebrate your birthday with a special gift of 500 bonus points.
- Customers can accumulate and redeem their bonus points for services offered by Bamboo Airways.
BAMBOO CLUB EMERALD CARD
Passengers will receive the following benefits:
- Members can accumulate and redeem reward points for services offered by Bamboo Airways.
- In the case of an irregular flight, passengers may be allowed to resolve seating arrangements.
Previously, Bamboo Airways also announced an update to the Card Upgrade Policy, allowing members to upgrade to a higher tier with just one flight. Specifically, from June 1, 2022, customers can upgrade from an active membership card of airlines within the global airline alliance to the corresponding Bamboo Club card tier with just one flight during the period from June 1 to December 31, 2022:
- Upgrade to First or Diamond: Complete at least one flight in Business Class.
- Upgrade to Gold: Complete at least one flight in Economy Class.
- Upgrade to Emerald: No conditions required.
With the digital card integrated directly into the Bamboo Club app, you can easily accumulate points and enjoy exclusive offers for each flight. If members wish to print a physical card, Bamboo Club will charge the following fees starting from June 1, 2022:
- First and Diamond cards: Free of charge.
Gold and Emerald Cards: A fee of 50,000 VND will be applied for printing the physical card.
