For travelers planning to explore the Land of Smiles by air this summer, you've probably already heard a bit about the Thailand Pass. However, to own and use this pass correctly and effectively, it's important to understand the key details. Let's take a look with Mytour.
What exactly is the Thailand Pass?
The Thailand Pass, also known as the Thai Pass, is considered a 'Thailand entry permit' for travelers flying into the Land of Smiles. Introduced in November 2021, it replaced the previous CoE (Certificate of Entry) system. Essentially, this new system streamlines the process, reducing paperwork and time compared to the CoE system.
Currently, travelers booking a flight to Thailand are required to have both the Thailand Pass and a valid visa, as per standard procedure.

The Thailand Pass was implemented in November 2021, replacing the previous CoE system.
