Rules for Domestic-International and International-Domestic Connecting Journeys
- Applicable only to connecting journeys between flights operated by Bamboo Airways at airports in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
- Only applicable for journeys with a maximum connection time of 24 hours at the transfer airport.
Minimum Transfer Time
- In Da Nang/ Ho Chi Minh City: 120 minutes.
- In Hanoi: 150 minutes.
Domestic Flight Routes Applicable for Connecting Journeys
The domestic routes available for connecting journeys include: From Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh City/ Da Nang – to Buon Ma Thuot/ Nha Trang/ Da Lat/ Phu Quoc/ Pleiku/ Quy Nhon/ Can Tho/ Dong Hoi/ Vinh/ Hai Phong/ Ho Chi Minh City/ Hanoi/ Da Nang/ Thanh Hoa/ Van Don/ Tuy Hoa/ Hue/ Chu Lai/ Rach Gia, and vice versa.
Checked and Carry-on Luggage Regulations
Carry-on and checked luggage must comply with the baggage regulations of the primary international route (main routing).
Principles of Service for Connecting Passengers
Connecting Flight Procedures
- Bamboo Airways handles check-in for passengers and luggage to the connecting point or the final destination of the journey (depending on the integration of check-in systems and the operating conditions at the departure or transit airports). Currently, Bamboo Airways only manages check-in for passengers and luggage to the connecting point.
- Staff will be assigned to meet and guide passengers through the necessary airport procedures at the connecting airport in case of same-day connections.
- Passengers must complete immigration, customs, and security procedures at the connecting airport.
- Passengers will check in at the regular check-in counter for the corresponding connecting flight at the connecting airport, in case they have not been directly checked in at the departure airport.
