Online check-in is no longer a new concept for most travelers in Vietnam. However, many still wonder if the newly established Vietravel Airlines offers this service. If it does, what is the process like? Let’s find out in the article below.
According to the latest updates from Vietravel Airlines, they do not yet offer online check-in at this time. Passengers flying with Vietravel Airlines still check in at the airline’s counters at the airports. However, there is no need for concern, as even though Vietravel Airlines is a relatively new airline, having launched in early 2021, it has already established a strong reputation among passengers. The airline is praised for its simple and quick check-in process, as well as its high on-time performance and rare delays or cancellations of flights.
Currently, Vietravel Airlines does not offer online check-in services. Passengers still check in directly at the airport counters.

Vietravel Airlines recommends passengers to check in at least 90 minutes before departure for domestic flights and at least 120 minutes before departure for international flights to ensure the airline has enough time to assist passengers.
Vietravel Airlines check-in counter opening/closing times at the airport:
- For domestic flights:
+ Check-in counter opens: 120 minutes before departure
+ Passengers must be at the boarding gate 40 minutes before departure
- For international flights:
+ The check-in counter opens 180 minutes before departure
+ Passengers should be at the boarding gate 50 minutes prior to departure
Note:
- If there is a change in the flight schedule, the check-in counter opening and closing times, as well as the check-in procedures, will be adjusted accordingly to the new flight time.
- The opening and closing times for check-in counters depend on regulations set by airport authorities and each airline.
- Passengers must arrive at the airport in time to complete all flight procedures, including customs, security, and immigration, as per the scheduled time.
- If passengers fail to comply with the specified time, Vietravel Airlines reserves the right to deny boarding.
- If denied boarding, passengers are advised to contact Vietravel Airlines' customer service hotline for further instructions. In such cases, passengers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
Although online check-in is not yet available, Vietravel Airlines offers a Priority Check-in service. Passengers can go directly to the airline’s dedicated priority counter at the airport for a quicker check-in process.
Passengers can take advantage of the Priority Check-in service to save time at the counter
The fee for the Priority Check-in service is currently 100,000 VND per person per domestic flight segment (excluding VAT).
To purchase the Priority Check-in service, passengers can buy it at the time of ticketing or register for an additional purchase at least 4 hours before departure through the following channels:
- The Manage Booking section on the official website of the airline
- Contact the Vietravel Airlines customer service hotline
- Official ticket offices and agents of the airline
- Directly contact Vietravel Airlines staff at the airport
