2. Terminals at Vienna Airport
Vienna Airport currently features four terminals: Terminal 1, 2, 3, and Terminal 1A, which is located across from Terminal 1. Additionally, the four terminals are connected to five lounges (B, C, D, F, G). The arrival hall for all terminals is located at Terminal 3.
Terminals
- Terminal 1: This terminal is used by several Oneworld and SkyTeam airlines.
- Terminal 1A: This is the check-in area for some low-cost airlines.
- Terminal 2: Currently closed for upgrades. The international airlines that previously operated in Terminal 2 have been moved to Terminal 1.
- Terminal 3 (Austrian Star Alliance Terminal): This terminal serves the Austrian Airlines Group, most Star Alliance members, and other airlines like Emirates, El Al, Korean Air, Royal Jordanian, and Qatar Airways.
Lounges
- Lounge B: Located in the basement of Lounge C with gates B22-B43 (accessible by bus) for destinations within the Schengen Area.
- Lounge C: For destinations within the Schengen Area, gates C31-C42, C35-C41, C71-C75.
- Lounge D: Formerly Lounge A, serving destinations outside the Schengen Area, gates D61-D70.

3. How to travel between the airport and downtown Vienna?
Bus
Vienna Airport Lines offers bus services connecting the airport to the Vienna subway system as well as intercity rail lines. There are three bus routes, with the Wien Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz route operating 24 hours a day, reaching downtown Vienna from the airport in just 20 minutes.
In addition, the airport also offers long-distance bus routes to Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
Car Sharing
Car sharing stations are located throughout the city and are open 24 hours a day. Car2Go and DriveNow are car sharing companies available from Vienna Airport.
CAT (City Airport Train - Airport Train)
CAT is an express train service that runs continuously, connecting the airport to downtown Vienna in just about 16 minutes. The train operates from 5:37 AM to 11:39 PM between Vienna Airport and the Wien Mitte Station in the city center. The latest updates indicate that the ticket price is around 12 Euros one-way and 21 Euros for a round trip.
Taxi and Limousine
The airport offers available taxis and limousines for hire. Additionally, you can rent cars from companies with offices at the airport, such as: Avis, Buchbinder, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Flizzr, FoxHertz, Megadrive, Payless, Sixt, Thrifty.
4. Hotels near Vienna Airport
- NH Vienna Airport Conference Center: This hotel is located within the airport area, just about a 2-minute walk. It is located directly across from the arrivals hall. Day-use rooms are available from 9 AM to 7 PM.
- Moxy Vienna Airport: Located just a 6-minute walk from the airport. This hotel does not offer shuttle services.
- Das Reinisch Bed & Breakfast: A 7-minute drive from the airport. It offers a shuttle service to the airport for 10 Euros per person, one way.
