For each seat class, Bangkok Airways has different policies for carry-on and checked baggage. Currently, the airline offers tickets for two main classes: Economy Class (Standard Class) and Blue Ribbon Class (Business Class).
Bangkok Airways defines baggage policies based on the seat classes available for sale: Economy Class and Blue Ribbon Class.
• Carry-on baggage:
Bangkok Airways allows passengers to bring 1 carry-on bag for Economy Class and 2 carry-on bags for Blue Ribbon Class. Each carry-on bag must not exceed 5kg, applicable to all passengers.
• Checked baggage:
Bangkok Airways permits passengers in Economy Class to check in up to 20kg, while Blue Ribbon Class passengers can check in up to 40kg. Infants are allowed 10kg of checked baggage.
Note: Sports equipment is included in the checked baggage allowance. Any baggage exceeding the allowed weight or size will incur excess baggage fees.
• Prepaid baggage:
If passengers wish to purchase additional baggage allowance, they can buy prepaid baggage at a lower price directly through the airline or at its ticket office.
- Prepaid baggage must be purchased at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- Prepaid baggage is only applicable for flights operated by Bangkok Airways.
- Prepaid baggage is non-refundable and non-transferable.
