Myrtle Edwards Park
Unlike the bustling atmosphere of the Space Needle in Seattle, this public park located on the bay is a sanctuary for wildlife, allowing animals to thrive in their natural environment. The park stretches along Elliott Bay and is famous for its 1.25-mile walking and biking trail, offering plenty of opportunities to spot eagles, herons, and other wildlife.

Originally known as Elliott Bay Park, the park was renamed in 1976 in honor of Myrtle Edwards, a prominent member of Seattle's city council who fought for the preservation of the city’s natural spaces. Between the park and the Space Needle is the Olympic Sculpture Park, an outdoor art installation park that opened in 2007.
Myrtle Edwards Park is open 24 hours a day, and visitors can walk from the Space Needle along Broad Street to explore the park.

Olympic Sculpture Park
One of the many open green spaces, the Olympic Sculpture Park offers a vast area where the public can enjoy an artistic environment filled with some of the largest modern sculptures of our time. The park serves as a venue for various social events, dance performances, and public shows throughout the year.
People visit the park to walk or jog along the paths, enjoy riverside views, have a picnic on sunny days, or simply wander and explore the modern art installations.
Located at 2901 Western Avenue in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, the Olympic Sculpture Park is free to the public and open every day from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. Street parking is available nearby.

-
Queen Anne Hill
One of the steepest hills in the city, Queen Anne Hill is quieter compared to the nearby Lower Queen Anne and the bustling downtown area. However, it still offers plenty of places to explore.
The grounds of the Seattle Center in Lower Queen Anne were once used as an exhibition space during the 1962 Century 21 Exposition. On sunny days, take a stroll through Kerry Park on the hill for one of the best views in the city.
Queen Anne Hill is located just north of downtown Seattle and south of Fremont. The neighborhoods include four smaller areas: North, East, and West Queen Anne on the hill, as well as Lower Queen Anne, adjacent to the downtown area.

Seattle Cruise Port
A city with many unique identities—ranging from coffee and technology to seafood—Seattle is an ideal place to start or finish a journey. Embark on a waterfront cruise to venture outside the city and enjoy a wine-tasting tour, explore Bainbridge Island, or visit Olympic National Park.
If you're staying in the heart of the city, make sure to visit top attractions like Pike Place Market and the Space Needle, as well as one of the many pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods such as Lower Queen Anne.

Garden Park Falls
Surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, Seattle offers visitors plenty of scenic beauty. However, you don't need to venture far beyond Pioneer Square to find nature in a tranquil garden. Waterfall Garden Park was designed by Japanese architect Masao Kinoshita to commemorate the birthplace of the United States Parcel Service (UPS).
Nestled between Main Street and Second Avenue, this small oasis offers a modern take on a Japanese garden, featuring plenty of granite stones, bricks, steel, and surrounding plant pots.
Especially during lunchtime, many people visit to relax on the metal benches, enjoying the ample space for picnics or a peaceful moment in the heart of the city.
Waterfall Garden Park is located at the corner of South Main Street and 2nd Avenue South and can be accessed by walking or via several public transportation options.
