Ninh Thuan tourism is famous for its vibrant beaches, bountiful vineyards, and poetic white sand dunes. But did you know that in the land of 'winds like Phan, sun like roasting,' there are other untouched scenic spots? Especially, these are breathtaking and hardly known. Let’s uncover these places with Mytour.
PoKlong Garai Tower
Located near the Chap Tham station, about 7 km from the center of Phan Rang, PoKlong Garai Tower is an almost intact architectural complex that showcases the Cham-pa architecture. The tower complex includes the main tower, a secondary tower, a gate tower, and brick walls.

Visiting here, beyond learning about the culture and the legends associated with the tower, visitors can also enjoy the picturesque scenery of the fields and flocks of storks soaring in the sky. In particular, you will witness the breathtaking sunset moment from a distance at the foot of Ngoan Muc Pass.
Nam Cuong Sand Dunes
Similar to the sand dunes of Mui Ne or Quang Phu in Quang Binh, the Nam Cuong sand dunes in Ninh Thuan also captivate visitors with their untouched, enchanting beauty. Covering an area of over 700 hectares, the dunes stretch endlessly, clearly visible from National Highway 1A. What’s special here is the tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by mountains, the sea, and villages on all sides.

You can visit here at any time, but the best moments are early in the morning or at dusk. Try sandboarding, walk barefoot on the tall dunes, capture the enchanting sunset, or take a few minutes to watch the flocks of sheep grazing or the shy Cham women carrying baskets passing by – these are experiences you should try when traveling domestically to Ninh Thuan.
Mui Dinh – The Lighthouse
Mui Dinh is located in Phuoc Dinh Commune, Thuan Nam District, about 45km south of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City. A year ago, reaching Mui Dinh could take up to a day. However, now, visitors can easily access it thanks to the newly opened 106 km coastal road.

However, getting there is a challenge. Under the scorching heat of 38 – 40°C (during the summer), travelers must cross sand dunes and steep roads that can leave you exhausted and anxious. But once you conquer the grueling path, you'll arrive at a breathtakingly untouched and magnificent place. The scenery here is stunning, and the tranquil atmosphere only allows you to hear the sound of the waves and the melodic chirping of birds.
At the base of the lighthouse, you'll find clear blue beaches, soft white sands, and gently sloping dunes stretching along the mountain ridges. Visitors can take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere.
Chapơ Waterfall
Chapơ Waterfall is untouched, majestic, and as beautiful as a white silk ribbon stretching between the mountains and forests, making it an ideal destination for explorers. Located about 60 km northwest of Phan Rang City, at an altitude of over 500 meters above sea level, in Phước Tân Commune, Bác Ái District, Ninh Thuận Province, the waterfall is around 10 km from National Highway 27B.
Visitors to Chapơ Waterfall will walk through lush, pristine forests, navigate through rugged terrains, and most importantly, immerse themselves in the refreshing waters while listening to the song of the “mountain lark” from the hills of Bác Ái. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the delicious local wine and traditional mountain dishes.
Hon Do
Hon Do is a pristine coastal area that is not widely known. Located in Mỹ Hiệp Hamlet, Thanh Hải Commune, Ninh Hải District, about 20 km from Phan Rang City, to reach Hon Do, one must walk along a sandy path for approximately 20 minutes from the main road.

If you visit here in the morning on a budget-friendly trip, you'll witness the bustling life of the local fishermen. It’s a scene of harvesting and trading seafood, where despite the sweat on everyone's brow, laughter and chatter never cease. After bidding farewell to the friendly locals, you can trek through the vast pine forest atop a high hill, with the expansive blue sea behind you, endless coral reefs stretching far and wide, and the sight of untouched, beautiful islands in the distance.
If you arrive too late, you can set up a tent and camp overnight. This is also a perfect spot for fishing or surfing. Note that the waves and winds here can be very strong.
