Quarantine regulations
Starting from 16/3/2022, passengers traveling from Vietnam to Singapore will no longer be required to quarantine upon arrival, as per the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) agreement. Passengers must meet the following conditions:
- Travel history: Passengers must have continuously stayed in Vietnam or any VTL country, European Economic Area (EEA) nations, or countries categorized by Singapore in Group 1 – which includes Mainland China, Macau, Taiwan (including transit points) within the 7 days prior to arrival in Singapore.
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with one of the vaccines recognized by the WHO. For details on the vaccines and the number of doses, refer here.
+ The vaccination certificate must be in English, and can be digitally recognized (e.g., via QR code)
+ The last dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to entering Singapore
+ Children under 12 years old who have not been vaccinated are allowed to travel with individuals who meet the Singapore entry requirements under VTL.
- Covid Test: A certificate showing a negative Covid-19 result in English. The test can be done using either the PCR method or rapid antigen test (ART) at an accredited medical facility. The test must be conducted at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure to Singapore.
- Short-term visitors must register for the Vaccination Travel Pass (VTP). The system will be open for passengers from Vietnam planning to enter Singapore within 3 to 60 days, starting at 10 AM on March 13, 2022. You can register for VTP here. The VTP is valid for 13 days. For example, if a passenger has a VTP on March 1, 2022, they can fly on flights from March 1 to March 14. If the passenger does not travel between March 1 and March 14, they will need to reapply for a new VTP.
- Passengers are required to travel on flights designated for the VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lane). Starting from March 16, all flights operated by Vietnam Airlines from Vietnam to Singapore will be VTL flights.
- Upon arrival, passengers must perform a self-administered rapid antigen test within 24 hours.
- Documents that passengers must print and carry with them before departure include:
- The registered VTP document from the online system.
- Confirmation of hotel/accommodation address.
- Flight ticket for the traveler.
- A valid English version of the COVID-19 PCR test showing a negative result before departure.
- Health insurance covering COVID-19, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 SGD.
- Passengers must download the TraceTogether app on their phone for health declaration.
