- A unique feature of the Moscow metro is that you only need to buy a single ticket, after which you can ride to any station of your choice. This is a great advantage for tourists exploring Moscow's metro system, making it both convenient and cost-effective.
- The metro stations are open from 5:30 AM until 1:30 AM the following day. Peak hours are 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, when stations tend to be crowded, so it's best to avoid these times if you want to explore at your leisure.
- It's recommended to purchase a metro map to help you navigate the system. Each metro line is represented by a different color on the map, and while traveling, you can rely on this map as well as the announcements at each station to guide you.
