Currently, for flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, passengers can choose from three airlines: Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways, or VietJet Air. Mytour's system shows that the best ticket prices for the Ho Chi Minh City – Hue route in January 2024 are as low as 90,000 VND per one-way (base price excluding taxes and fees), offered by VietJet Air. This is VietJet Air’s Eco fare, including a 7kg carry-on allowance. The ticket is refundable/cancellable but not transferable. The total price after taxes and fees for the entire journey is 803,000 VND.
As of now, VietJet Air’s flight prices from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue are considered the most advantageous. This is because the airline operates up to seven flights daily on this route, with schedules spread throughout the day from early morning to late evening, making it easy for passengers to choose and book their tickets. Additionally, the airline offers a wide range of competitive prices, with only slight variations. For example, in addition to the 90,000 VND per one-way ticket, VietJet Air also offers fares of 190,000 VND or 330,000 VND per one-way. However, according to Mytour’s analysis, you can easily secure the 90k tickets, as the airline has a large number of these tickets available on several days and even across different flight times on the same day.
On the other hand, Vietnam Airlines consistently offers higher prices. Mytour's system reveals that the airline’s starting fare is 689,000 VND per one-way, excluding taxes and fees. This price includes 23kg of checked baggage. Bamboo Airways offers a relatively good starting price of 340,000 VND per one-way, but it only operates one flight per day.
