On May 20, 2022, Bamboo Airways updated the information regarding who is allowed to enter Australia as follows:
All fully vaccinated passengers with the required visa for entry into Australia are allowed to fly to Australia without needing any travel restrictions exemption.
The following individuals are also considered fully vaccinated if:
- Children under 12 years and 3 months at the time of departure to Australia (regardless of their vaccination status), or
- Children under 18 years old at the time of entry into Australia, who must be accompanied by at least one fully vaccinated parent or guardian (as per Australia's definition of full vaccination), or
- Unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine for medical reasons (meaning contraindicated for vaccination) with evidence meeting the Commonwealth's requirements.

Australia has clear regulations regarding the individuals allowed to enter the country.
Note:
- Passengers who are not fully vaccinated or unable to provide valid proof of vaccination status should refer to the Travel Exemption process to enter Australia. The exemption request must be made on the Travel Exemption Portal at least 2 weeks but no more than 2 months before departure.
- Individuals with temporary visas who do not meet Australia's definition of fully vaccinated for international travel purposes may still enter Australia without needing to apply for a travel exemption if they belong to an exempt category. Exempt passengers do not need to apply for an exemption if they are:
+ An Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
+ A New Zealand citizen who is a regular resident in Australia.
+ A close family member of an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen who is a regular resident in Australia.
