Ba Dinh Square

Tran Quoc Pagoda
Originally named Khai Quoc Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda was built in 541 during the Early Ly Dynasty. It was renamed Tran Quoc Pagoda during the reign of King Le Hy Tong (1681–1705), symbolizing the hope that it would protect the people from disasters and bring peace to the nation. Situated on an island in the eastern part of West Lake, the pagoda houses many valuable statues of Buddha and Bodhisattvas, primarily located in the upper hall. Among them, the most prominent is the gilded wooden statue of Buddha Shakyamuni entering Nirvana, considered one of the most beautiful Nirvana statues in Vietnam.

Surprise Cave is divided into two main chambers. The first chamber resembles a grand theater with a ceiling adorned by stunning stalactites. These formations take on various shapes, resembling animal statues that appear incredibly lifelike, sparking your imagination and creativity.
Luon Cave
Luon Cave is one of the most picturesque and tranquil attractions, located on Bo Hon Island in the southern part of Ha Long Bay.
