Tam Dao is an excellent destination for the upcoming 30/4 holiday. Hidden among steep hills, you'll find cozy coffee shops, lush green su su gardens, towering television towers, and the majestic Silver Waterfall—these are familiar spots for visitors. However, the trail that crosses the three peaks of Thiên Thị, Thạch Bàn, and Phù Nghĩa isn't for the faint-hearted. For young adventurers eager to challenge themselves, trekking the three peaks of Tam Dao is a thrilling experience. The routes leading to these three summits are tough, so let’s take a moment to prepare with Mytour for this exciting challenge.
Phù Nghĩa Peak
The trail to Phù Nghĩa Peak offers stunning views, with the sounds of birds chirping, misty trees, and an overall sense of tranquility. But conquering this peak requires strong stamina, as it stands at 1,250 meters above sea level. The reward at the summit is breathtaking—a serene landscape shrouded in mist, surrounded by wildflowers that bloom in the fresh sunlight. This is a rare and beautiful sight, a true gem of domestic tourism this summer.

As you embark on the journey to conquer the three peaks in Tam Dao, the most famous destination in Vĩnh Phúc tourism, be aware that the tree trunks along the trail are covered with moss and vines, making the path slippery, especially in the mornings when the mist hasn't fully dissipated. Therefore, it's advisable to bring trekking poles and wear protective shoes.

Thiên Thị Peak
Continuing along the trail, you will conquer the Thiên Thị peak at 1,591 meters. The path is lined with an expansive bamboo forest, its slender, sturdy, straight trunks and lush green leaves offering a breathtaking sight that feels straight out of a martial arts movie. Walking through the bamboo forest, you will feel like you've stepped into a mystical realm, with mist hovering due to the altitude and sunlight filtering through the bamboo, creating an enchanting and ethereal landscape. Upon reaching the Thiên Thị summit, you'll feel as if you've entered a magical, almost otherworldly paradise.

Thạch Bàn Peak
At 1,250 meters, Thạch Bàn Peak is incredibly challenging for trekkers. Saying goodbye to the fairy-tale landscape of Thiên Thị, you’ll face many trials on the way to Thạch Bàn. The path becomes steep, high, and in many parts, almost vertical with no clear trail. You’ll have to rely on tree roots and rocks to climb up. In some sections, you’ll need to take a dangerous leap, nearly hanging from tree roots, and one misstep could send you tumbling into the abyss. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be greeted by a majestic and poetic view, with clouds surrounding you so close you can almost touch them. Conquering these sheer cliffs is an exciting and challenging personal feat.

If you maintain a steady pace and have quick meals, you can reach the final peak, Thạch Bàn, in about 6 hours. Standing on the peak in the early afternoon, you can see the distant Thái Nguyên City and Núi Cốc Lake on clear days, or the beautiful Tam Dao town appearing in the golden sunlight—truly a magical sight. This challenge attracts not only local young adventurers but also international tourists who love these trekking trails.
