To support the travel season and the vibrant festivals happening everywhere towards the end of the year, VietjetAir will open two additional routes from Vietnam to Shanghai and Mongolia this December. You can find more details about these new flights in the following article, brought to you by Mytour.
Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai Route

The Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai route will be operated by VietjetAir starting on February 1, 2023.
From February 1, 2023, VietjetAir will officially launch the Ho Chi Minh City route, offering 7 flights daily. This international route will be operated using the modern A321 wide-body aircraft, with a total flight time of just approximately 4 hours and 5 minutes for the entire journey.
The newly launched route by VietjetAir offers an affordable way for travelers to visit Shanghai.
Shanghai, a beautiful city located on the Yangtze River Delta, is renowned for its rapid economic growth, earning the title of China's financial capital. Beyond its modernity, the city captivates visitors with the charm of its ancient architecture and rich cultural heritage that still resonates today.
Shanghai is also home to many tourist attractions that will provide you with a variety of exciting experiences, such as:
Take a stroll along the Bund to enjoy the peaceful river views and the historic buildings constructed in Gothic, Baroque, neoclassical, and Renaissance styles. The best time to visit the Bund is at night, when the skyscrapers light up like Christmas trees, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere.
Yu Garden – A peaceful tourist destination in Shanghai, featuring expansive grounds filled with ancient trees, flower gardens, and clear, tranquil ponds. It's the perfect place to relax, take a leisurely walk, and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Nanjing Road – A must-visit tourist spot in Shanghai and a shopping paradise for those looking to indulge in retail therapy. Here, you can shop to your heart's content while strolling and experiencing the vibrant life of the locals.
Nha Trang – Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) Route

VietjetAir will operate the Nha Trang – Ulaanbaatar route starting on December 15, 2023.
At the Vietnam – Mongolia Business Forum on November 2, 2023, VietjetAir officially announced the launch of the route connecting Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) and Nha Trang (Vietnam), in the presence of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, and leaders from various ministries, agencies, and businesses of both countries.
VietjetAir's Nha Trang – Ulaanbaatar route will begin operations on December 15, 2023, with an initial frequency of two round-trip flights per week. The flight duration for each leg is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes, catering to the travel needs of Mongolian residents and tourists visiting Nha Trang, Vietnam, and vice versa.
Currently, Mongolia is not highly developed in terms of tourism, but for adventure seekers, this mysterious land offers many surprising and exciting experiences.
When you travel to Mongolia, you can enjoy watching beautiful wild horses galloping across the vast plains. In addition, visiting these plains gives you the chance to explore the nomadic lifestyle and culture of the Mongolian people. Especially if you visit Mongolia in July, you might have the opportunity to participate in the unique Nadaam Festival, where locals compete in wrestling, horse racing, archery, and many other thrilling activities.
