Marriott International will take over from IGH as the new operator of InterContinental Saigon. The hotel will be renamed JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon starting this September.
InterContinental Saigon Undergoes Name Change and Operator Shift

Marriott International has signed an agreement to manage the hotel and serviced apartment complex owned by Mapletree Investments in Ho Chi Minh City. This partnership will lead to the rebranding of InterContinental Saigon, marking the debut of the JW brand in the city. This will be the third JW-branded hotel in Vietnam, following the two existing properties in Hanoi and Phu Quoc.

Located at the intersection of Hai Ba Trung and Le Duan streets, InterContinental Saigon (JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon) is close to popular attractions. The hotel is surrounded by key city landmarks such as Ben Thanh Market and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Additionally, the hotel is just 6 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

JW Brand Expands Further in Vietnam
JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon also becomes the 24th property of Marriott International in Vietnam and the fifth in Ho Chi Minh City, joining Sheraton, Le Méridien, Renaissance, and Autograph Collection. Mr. Duke Nam, overseeing the South Korea and Philippines markets, will also take on the responsibility for Vietnam.

Marriott International plans to expand its portfolio of hotels and resorts in Vietnam, with over 50 projects currently in development. This expansion will introduce several new brands to the country, including the recently opened The Westin Resort & Spa Cam Ranh. Upcoming brands set to debut include The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Executive Apartments.
