To provide a unique experience for travelers, from December 24th, Vietnam Railways officially operates the La Reine train on the Da Lat – Trai Mat route. This one-of-a-kind rail line is set to offer passengers an unforgettable journey.
The train features carriages with 36 seats arranged along both sides, with a central aisle. Passengers can easily enjoy the stunning views of the highlands. Additionally, there is a VIP compartment with 12 seats, perfect for groups or families seeking privacy.
In terms of amenities, the La Reine train is designed with enhanced features compared to traditional trains. It includes modern restrooms equipped with new facilities and a system for waste disposal using water and compressed air. The washbasins are made of porcelain, paired with stone countertops and tiled floors, further elevating the comfort of the space.
A luxurious design reminiscent of a 'golden age.'
The La Reine train draws inspiration from the architecture of the Nam Phuong Queen's Palace. The carriages on the La Reine train from Da Lat – Trai Mat boast a refined, elegant, and classic design. This is a blend of Indochine style with French influences, while also retaining the nostalgic charm of traditional Asian aesthetics.
From the outside, the train is painted in a deep brown, complemented by elegantly styled vintage windows. Currently, Vietnam Railways is offering a variety of promotional discounts on La Reine train tickets. Passengers purchasing round-trip tickets will enjoy a 25% discount on both legs of the journey. For group bookings of 10 or more tickets, discounts range from 15% to 40% off the regular fare.
Additionally, passengers can enjoy complimentary artichoke tea, free Wi-Fi, and live music performances onboard. For the two night trains, light meals will be provided.
