What do you know about Bamboo Airways' Missed Flight, Go-Show, and Last-Minute Ticket policies?
MISSED FLIGHT
- Passengers who miss their flight are those who arrive late at the check-in counter or boarding gate, but no later than 30 minutes after the plane's departure. Eligible ticket holders will be allowed to transfer to the next available flight with open seats, provided the departure is within 48 hours of the original flight's actual takeoff time.
- Missed flight assistance is provided once per passenger.
- Effective Date: Applicable from October 12, 2023, until further notice for tickets departing on or after October 12, 2023.
* Standard fare tickets that do not allow itinerary or flight time changes (e.g., Economy Saver Max): Missed flight assistance is not provided.
* Standard fare tickets (including group tickets) that permit itinerary or flight time changes must be adjusted at least 3 hours before departure for domestic flights, for example, Economy Saver:
+ A fee of 700,000 VND per passenger per segment (including VAT) plus any fare difference (if applicable) will be charged, applicable to both adults and children.
+ No fee is charged for infants under 2 years old.
* Economy Flex (booking classes: Y, W, B, H): Free missed flight assistance is provided, except during the Lunar New Year period, which follows case 2 (Lunar New Year 2024: January 20, 2024 – February 27, 2024).
* Standard fare tickets that allow changes after the flight departure, for example, Economy Smart, Economy Flex (remaining booking classes): Assistance is provided based on standard ticket change conditions.
* Bamboo Club Reward Tickets, Sponsored Tickets, Complimentary Tickets, and Unlimited Prepaid Cards:
+ A fee of 700,000 VND per passenger per segment (including VAT) is charged, applicable to both adults and children.
+ No fee is charged for infants under 2 years old.
GO-SHOW
- Go-show passengers are those with future departure tickets who wish to change their tickets to an earlier flight within the airport's time frame (3 hours for domestic flights, 5 hours for international flights). Go-show is only applicable at the airport.
- Effective Date: Applicable from August 28, 2023, until further notice for tickets departing on or after August 28, 2023.

+ "Not Permitted": Go-show is not applicable.
+ "Permitted": Go-show is allowed, and ticket changes are subject to fare conditions.
+ "Free of Charge": Go-show is free, with no fare difference charged, provided the new and original flights share the same departure and destination routes.
LAST-MINUTE TICKETS
- Last-minute ticket sales refer to tickets sold within 3 hours to 40 minutes before departure, available at the last-minute ticket counter.
- Applicable Conditions:
+ Available at the departure airport ticket counter.
+ Applicable Booking Classes: Last-minute ticket sales are permitted for booking classes O and above.
