Latest updates on the conditions for domestic economy class fares with Bamboo Airways: Are you aware?
This information applies to tickets issued/reissued/refunded/exchanged from 6:00 PM on September 26, 2023.
Currently, Bamboo Airways offers four types of economy class fares: Economy Saver Max, Economy Saver, Economy Smart, and Economy Flex. The fare conditions for each type are as follows:
Economy Saver Max
- Carry-on baggage allowance: 7kg.
- Checked baggage fees (adults/children): Payment required.
- Infant checked baggage fees: Payment required.
- Meal service: Provided according to the standards of each specific journey.
- Flight/itinerary time changes are not allowed (at least 3 hours before departure).
- Flight/itinerary departure changes are not permitted (within 3 hours before departure and after departure).
- Economy Saver Max tickets are non-transferable and cannot have the name changed.
- Ticket refund (at least 3 hours before departure): Not allowed.
- Ticket refund (within 3 hours before and after departure): Not allowed.
- Child ticket (ages 2 to under 12): 75% of the adult fare.
- Infant (under 2 years old): A fee of 100,000 VND per segment applies.
- Goshow (changing flights at the airport): Not applicable.
- Service upgrade at the airport: Additional fee required.
- Seat selection: Additional fee required.
- Business lounge access: Additional fee required.
- Priority check-in counter: Additional fee required.
- Bamboo Club points multiplier is not applicable.
Economy Saver
- Carry-on baggage allowance: 7kg.
- Checked baggage policy for adults/children:
+ Con Dao route: 15kg.
+ All other routes: 20kg.
- Infant checked baggage fees: Additional fee required.
- Meal service: Provided according to the standards for each specific journey.
- Flight/itinerary time change (at least 3 hours before departure): 300,000 VND + any fare difference (if applicable).
- Flight/itinerary changes (within 3 hours before departure and after departure): Not allowed.
- Name change on the ticket: Not allowed.
- Ticket refund (at least 3 hours before departure): 450,000 VND.
- Ticket refund (within 3 hours before and after departure): Not allowed.
- For children passengers (ages 2 to under 12): 75% of the adult fare.
- Infants (under 2 years old): Additional fee of 100,000 VND per segment.
- Goshow (changing flight at the airport) policy applies.
- Upgrading service at the airport: Additional fee required.
- Seat selection: Additional fee applies.
- Business lounge: Additional fee applies.
- Priority check-in counter: Additional fee applies.
- Bamboo Club points multiplier for this fare class: 0.25.
Economy Smart
- Carry-on baggage allowance: 7kg.
- Checked baggage allowance for adults/children:
+ Con Dao route: 15kg
+ Other routes: 20kg
- Checked baggage fee for infants: Additional charge applies
- Meal service: Provided according to the specific service standards of each journey.
- Flight/route change fee (at least 3 hours before departure): 300,000 VND + any difference (if applicable).
- Flight/route schedule change (within 3 hours before or after the scheduled departure): 600,000 VND + any fare difference (if applicable).
- Name changes: Not allowed.
- Ticket refund (at least 3 hours before departure): 450,000 VND
- Ticket refund (within 3 hours before and after departure): 650,000 VND.
- Children (ages 2 to under 12): 75% of the adult fare.
- Infants (under 2 years old): 100,000 VND per segment.
- Goshow (flight change at the airport) is allowed.
- Upgrading service at the airport: Additional charges apply.
- Seat selection: Additional charges apply.
- Business Lounge access: Additional charge applies.
- Priority check-in counter: Additional charge applies.
- Bamboo Club points multiplier: 0.5.
Economy Flex
- Bamboo Airways hand luggage allowance: 07kg.
- Checked baggage policy (adults/children):
+ Con Dao route: 15kg
+ Other routes: 20kg
- Baby checked baggage fee: Applicable.
- Meal service: Provided according to the service standards of each flight.
- Flight/itinerary changes (at least 3 hours before departure): Free of charge + any fare differences (if applicable).
- Flight/itinerary changes (within 3 hours before and after departure): Free of charge + any fare differences (if applicable).
- Name changes on the ticket are not permitted by the airline.
- Ticket refund (at least 3 hours before departure): 450,000 VND.
- Ticket refund (within 3 hours before and after departure): 550,000 VND.
- The ticket price for children (from 2 to under 12 years old): 75% of the adult fare.
- Infants (under 2 years old): A fee of 100,000 VND per leg.
- Goshow (change of flight at the airport): Free of charge.
- Upgrading the service at the airport: A fee applies.
- Seat selection: A fee applies.
- Business lounge: A fee applies.
- Priority check-in counter: A fee applies.
- Bamboo Club points multiplier: 1.00.
