Bamboo Airways offers the service of transporting oversized luggage and bicycles as checked baggage.
What qualifies as oversized luggage & bicycles?
- Oversized luggage refers to items with total dimensions (length + width + height) ranging from 159cm to 203cm. Examples of oversized luggage include sporting equipment like golf sets, snowboarding gear, skateboards, bicycles, etc.
- Bicycles are transported as checked baggage, including regular bicycles and sports bikes. Electric bikes, battery-powered bikes, or bikes containing dangerous goods such as batteries are not accepted.

How can you book oversized luggage and bicycle transport services with Bamboo Airways?
Passengers wishing to transport oversized luggage or bicycles should contact Bamboo Airways' ticket offices and book the service at least 24 hours before the flight departure time.

- Loại hành lý được cho là cồng kềnh phải được đóng gói cẩn thận, gọn gàng, đảm bảo không có góc sắc nhọn làm ảnh hưởng đến máy bay và các hành lý khác.
- Xe đạp phải được đóng gói trong hộp hoặc thùng gọn gàng, không có góc nhọn và đảm bảo các điều kiện sau:
+ Ensure that the bicycle tires are fully deflated before packaging
+ Remove and pack any bulky parts such as pedals, saddle, lights, mirrors, etc.
+ Position the handlebar components in line with the length of the bicycle frame.

Baggage Policy
- Bamboo Airways offers free check-in for the first bicycle, with a total weight not exceeding 23kg per passenger (for Economy Saver class and above). This applies to all domestic flights, excluding the Con Dao route.
- For bicycles with a total weight between 23kg and 32kg, additional charges will apply according to the checked baggage rate.
- The second and subsequent bicycles, each weighing under 32kg, will incur a fee of 600,000 VND per item (excluding VAT).
Note:
- For the Economy Saver Max fare class, bicycles will be subject to charges based on the checked baggage fee policy.
- Oversized luggage with total dimensions exceeding 203 cm, or one dimension greater than 150 cm, or weighing more than 32kg will not be accepted as checked baggage. These items will be transported as cargo instead.
