Located in Thanh An commune, Minh Long district, Thac Trang is approximately 23 kilometers southwest of the center of Quang Ngai city. With its pristine and awe-inspiring landscape, Thac Trang has become a popular destination for many visitors, especially for weekend trips during the summer.
Nestled amidst the majestic Trường Sơn mountain range, Thac Trang cascades from a height of 40-50 meters, its white foam splashing like silver on the steep rocky slopes. This breathtaking view has earned it a place among the most stunning waterfalls in Central Vietnam.
As the water flows to the base of the waterfall, it gradually forms a natural pond, spanning hundreds of square meters with clear, refreshing water perfect for swimming and enjoying the cool flow from above. Surrounding the White Waterfall is an expansive mountainous area filled with towering ancient trees that provide a refreshing shade, making the air here incredibly fresh and peaceful. In the scorching heat of Central Vietnam, visiting the White Waterfall feels like entering another world, with cool air and the melodious sounds of birds creating a truly serene and delightful atmosphere.
To reach the White Waterfall, start from downtown Quảng Ngãi and head southwest toward Chợ Chùa town in Nghĩa Hành district. After crossing a small pass, you will reach Minh Long town, and from there, it's about 5 km further to the waterfall.
Note: From Quảng Ngãi city, you can take the Quảng Ngãi – Minh Long bus for just 16,000 VND per trip. Once you reach Thanh An bridge, you can take a motorbike ride to the White Waterfall area.
The White Waterfall is an eco-tourism resort, offering a range of services for relaxation, dining, and recreation. While it remains in a somewhat rustic state and is still under development, it is guaranteed to provide visitors with truly valuable and wonderful experiences.
