The bus route between Nanning City (China) and Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) will officially begin operations on September 3, 2024.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
According to the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, this transport route is designed for Chinese tourists and has been approved by the Department of Transport of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Quang Ninh Department of Transport. The route is jointly operated by the New National Line Transport Group Co., Ltd. (China) and the Vietnam-China Global Friendship Group Joint Stock Company (Vietnam). Chinese tourists traveling to Ha Long will follow standard entry procedures, using a day-pass for short stays or a visa for longer visits, depending on their visa allowance. A trial run of this fixed route was conducted three months ago, with the starting point at Fengling Passenger Station (Nanning, China) and the terminal at Bai Chay Bus Station (Quang Ninh).

ROUTE DETAILS
The route passes through the G75 Lanhai Expressway, the G7511 Qin-Dong – Dongxing – Dongxing Border Gate (China) – Mong Cai Border Gate – Mong Cai Expressway – Ha Long – Bai Chay.

TIMING
The journey will depart from China at 11:00 AM (Beijing time) every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with one trip per day. The arrival time at Bai Chay Bus Station is 2:30 PM (Vietnam time).

Quang Ninh Province anticipates that launching additional transport routes from China will diversify tourism offerings for visitors to Ha Long, aiming to attract more tourists and foster cultural development in the region.
