Announcement regarding the temporary suspension of operations at certain airports on September 7, 2024.
Due to the effects of Typhoon YAGI, in order to ensure absolute safety for air traffic, the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority has decided to temporarily suspend flight operations at several airports.
- Van Don Airport, Quang Ninh: from 04:00 AM to 04:00 PM on September 7, 2024.
- Cat Bi Airport, Hai Phong: from 05:00 AM to 04:00 PM on September 7, 2024.
- Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi: from 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM on September 7, 2024.
- Tho Xuan Airport, Thanh Hoa: from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on September 7, 2024.

Vietnam Airlines
Vietnam Airlines will notify passengers of any flight schedule changes affected by Typhoon YAGI through contact details provided at the time of booking.
Vietjet Air
Several flights of Vietjet Air traveling to and from airports within the typhoon-affected area are expected to be temporarily suspended.
- 18 flights to and from Hai Phong (Cat Bi Airport) will be suspended from 05:00 AM to 04:00 PM on September 7.
- 67 flights to and from Hanoi (Noi Bai Airport) will be suspended from 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM on September 7.
- 4 flights to and from Thanh Hoa (Tho Xuan Airport) will be suspended from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on September 7.
- No flights will be affected to and from Quang Ninh (Van Don Airport) between 04:00 AM and 04:00 PM on September 7.
Other flights are also expected to adjust their operation times due to the impact of the typhoon.
Vietjet Air will inform passengers about the affected flights via the contact details provided at the time of booking.
Bamboo Airways
To ensure safety, Bamboo Airways plans to adjust flight schedules in the affected areas. Specifically, the following flights will be cancelled on September 7, 2024:
- QH1540/1547: Ho Chi Minh City - Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City
- QH1421/1422: Hanoi - Da Lat - Hanoi
- QH103/104: Hanoi - Da Nang - Hanoi
- QH1213/1212: Hanoi - Quy Nhon - Hanoi
- QH1415/1416: Hanoi - Cam Ranh - Hanoi
- QH242/255/244/275: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City
