Pacific Airlines officially began selling tickets for Tết starting from August 15, 2022
Currently, although the official schedule for the Lunar New Year 2023 holiday has not yet been announced, it is expected that workers will have about 10 days off (from the 29th of the last lunar month to the 8th of the first lunar month, i.e., from January 20th to January 29th, 2023).

A representative of Pacific Airlines has announced that, for this year's Lunar New Year season, the airline will focus on increasing capacity on routes connecting the three major cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City with provinces across the country, including Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Quy Nhon, Quang Nam, Pleiku, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and more.
On international routes, Pacific Airlines plans to offer the most seats for flights connecting Vietnam with Southeast Asian and Northeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, as well as with Australia.

The airfares set by Pacific Airlines for this year's Tet season are considered to be higher compared to previous years. By choosing the right fare options, flying early or late in the day, passengers may find more affordable fares. However, flying during peak hours (morning or afternoon) will result in fares for Tet 2023 being similar to or even higher than those of Tet 2022.
For instance, on the 28th of Tet, Pacific Airlines is offering flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi at a price of 2,419,000 VND per one-way ticket (basic fare, excluding taxes and fees). This represents the best available fare for this route.
Industry experts believe that it is too early to determine whether the current airfares are truly the best, as airlines often release early bird fares that are cheaper, but prices can drop further as demand decreases. Some even predict that prices might fluctuate 1 to 2 months before Tet, depending on the airlines' plans to increase or decrease flight frequencies.
