According to the latest data from online travel platforms, Phu Quoc is the most searched destination by international travelers for the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday. Search volume has surged nearly 140% compared to the previous year, surpassing popular destinations like Da Nang and Nha Trang. Notably, demand for accommodation in Phu Quoc has also shown an impressive growth of 266% compared to 2024.
Phu Quoc's appeal lies in its striking natural beauty, high-quality tourism services, warm hospitality, and rich local culture. In addition, recent efforts to promote the island internationally have helped Phu Quoc establish a prominent presence on the global tourism map. The modern international passenger port is expected to open in February 2025.
