The final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2024 will take place on the evening of July 13, 2024, at the stage by the Han River. Featuring a thrilling competition between two fireworks teams from China and Finland.
Earlier, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2024, themed “Made in Unity – Global Connection – Shining Across Five Continents,” kicked off on June 8, 2024. Held at the fireworks stage by the Han River, the event saw participation from 8 teams, including 7 international teams (France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland) and a representative team from Da Nang, Vietnam. Through this theme, the festival aimed to convey a message of peace, friendship, humanity, and to inspire positive values for the community.
Revealing the two finalist teams for the grand finale
On the evening of June 29, Finland and China competed in the final qualifying round. On June 30, the organizing committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival announced the two teams advancing to the finals after four nights of performances by 8 teams from around the world. Finland and China emerged as the top two teams to compete in the final round.
To ensure fairness in the final competition, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, conducted a draw to determine the performance order. China will perform first, followed by Finland.
The DIFF 2024 finale, themed “Rhythm of the Future,” will take place on the evening of July 13, featuring a competition between the two most outstanding teams, promising a light show that exceeds all expectations.
Prizes for the participating teams of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024
During the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2024 season, the champion team will receive a prize worth $20,000, along with a trophy and certificate. The runner-up team will be awarded $10,000, a trophy, and a certificate.
Additionally, this year’s prize for the audience’s favorite team (voted by the audience) includes a $5,000 reward and a certificate. For unique and creative performances by the teams, the organizing committee has decided to introduce a creativity award with a $5,000 prize.
