The Vietnam Airlines Group has officially begun selling tickets for the 2023 Lunar New Year (Quý Mão) from August 15th, 2022
It is announced that tickets for the 2023 Lunar New Year (Quý Mão) holiday have officially been available for sale since August 15, 2022, across all platforms: website, mobile app, ticket offices, and official agents of the Vietnam Airlines Group. During this period, airlines will provide millions of seats on both domestic and international flights from January 6, 2023, to February 5, 2023 (from the 15th of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Tiger to the 15th of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Cat).
Vietnam Airlines Group has announced that for domestic flights, airlines are focusing on increasing capacity on routes connecting Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City to other provinces such as Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Quy Nhon, Quang Nam, Pleiku, Da Lat, Buon Me Thuot, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and more.
For international flights, the routes with the highest availability are between Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries, East Asia such as Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, and also between Vietnam and Australia.
Vietnam Airlines is expected to nearly double its international flight capacity during this period compared to usual, as countries and regions continue to ease their entry restrictions.
In addition to meeting the demand for family reunions, the Vietnam Airlines Group also caters to a significant number of travelers wishing to enjoy leisure trips during the Lunar New Year. The airline focuses on improving service quality, offering convenient flight schedules, modern aircraft, and an extensive route network. Airlines have also prepared early by arranging pilots, cabin crew, aircraft, and other personnel, along with equipment, to ensure the highest level of service during the peak holiday season.
Airlines are fully prepared to serve passengers during the peak Lunar New Year period
In a special promotion, Vietnam Airlines is offering attractive discounted fares for passengers traveling at the beginning of the Lunar New Year. The offer is available for Business Class tickets purchased from August 15, 2022, to January 31, 2023, and for Economy Class tickets bought from August 15, 2022, until the end of the New Year period.
Passengers can enjoy a fixed Business Class fare of 2,868,000 VND for long-haul flights and 1,868,000 VND for short-haul routes (prices include taxes and surcharges). To qualify for this deal, tickets must be purchased at least 7 days before the scheduled departure date.
For Economy Class, special fares for early New Year travel start at just 199,000 VND (equivalent to 785,000 VND after taxes and surcharges).

- The offer is valid for travel from January 14, 2023, to February 5, 2023, on flights departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Hai Phong, Van Don, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quy Nhon, Dong Hoi, Tuy Hoa, Pleiku, and Buon Ma Thuot.
