Suối Hầm Heo
Explaining the unique name – “Suối Hầm Heo”

The name “Hầm Heo” originates from the past when wild boars frequently gathered near this stream, causing havoc to the crops of local farmers. Despite numerous attempts to drive them away, the problem persisted. Over 60 years ago, the Pa Hy community came together and decided to dig a large trench from the hillside to the stream to block the boars. At night, when the boars descended to the fields, the village chief signaled with a torch. Young men, lying in ambush, shouted and chased the boars toward the trench. Terrified, the boars fled into the trench and toward the stream, where they were trapped by the deep water and waiting hunters. This event led to the stream being named “Hầm Heo.”
